Willy Camden was commissioned to shoot actress, director and humanitarian Angelina Jolie for the launch of Guerlain’s new perfume Mon Guerlain. The brief was to create a unique piece of art that transcends normal everyday advertising standards by bringing together the very best talent within their own individual crafts. The finished portrait took a team of 15 people to create and is made up of almost 100 individually retouched images, perfectly synchronized to complete the final, incredible 3D portrait. This was the first time that this type of imagery had been used in such a large and prestigious commercial venture.

Karl Lagerfeld and AnOther Magazine
Willy Camden’s creative vision and expert lighting techniques were used for AnOther Magazine’s 15th anniversary limited edition cover portrait shot of Karl Lagerfeld. He worked with a retoucher on the 55 images, which were specially layered to create the 3D holographic cover. This was the first time that editorial and advertising industry standard retouching had been used for a 3D portrait. The cover was a celebrated success.
